What Happend?

Well my friend pourd a cap full of oil into his carb on his motor that is running on front rotor only and he thought if he pourd oil into the rear rotor hes would lube the seals and get compression again. Now it wont start did he ruin his motor compltetly. What happend?

And can you pass emmissions with no rats nest?

1. Probably fouled his plugs. Check for ignition at the plugs to make sure he didn't lose an ignitor. Perform ghetto compression test to check for broken apex seal. Try using Seafoam instead of oil next time (won't foul the plugs and works better for starting flooded motors).

2. No...

He probably oil fouled the spark plugs, no biggie, pull 'em and cleam 'em. You cannot pass emissions without a working air pump, cat, acv/egr. Iirc, one of those solenoids control that.
