What exhaust system do I have?

Hope someone can help me out. I bought this system used for my 79 with a 13b 4port engine. The guy who sold it to me said it was a racing beat streetport system. Now that it’s installed, I’m not so sure it is..

The muffler looks like a racing beat, and the centre section looks like an old racing beat unit, but I’m not sure what the header is. The tubes seem to have a longer straight piece right off the engine flange. The other reason I think it’s not a racing beat is that it hangs really low where it bolts to the centre section. After some research, it sounds like I might have an old re header, but I can’t find any pics of one to confirm.

I Don’t like how low the header sits, so I was going to buy a new racing beat one hoping that it would fit better. Wondering if it would bring the centre section up higher toward the front of the car.

sorry for the one crappy pic, it’s the only one I took before installing it.
I’ll try to get my car on the hoist later and take more pictures of the header.

Might be an old, old RB SP exhaust setup but really looks like a clone of one that was fabricated. Looks serviceable. The header, its hard to tell from the pictures. I used to have an RE header but that doesn't look like it but I don't have it anymore so, yeah I can't say for sure.

that exhaust system is just what the seller said it is, i run this same system on mine. since the header has place for O2 sensor i'd say it's from a gsl-se which had the 13b. should fit ur 4 port just fine. not sure why it's got those other 2 fittings in each tube close to the engine flange. the engine flange will have RB between the 2 tubes.

It definitely works with my 13b 4port because I've been driving it for a couple weeks with it on the car. I just don't like how low the header sits, does yours sit really low too rxtasy3?

The 2 bungs on top are for an egt gauge..

This is a picture of my racing beat street Port system header, I bought it from them around 25 years ago, it is also for a 13b 4port. It looks a lot different from what you have.
If you have a welder, you could cut the back flange off of your header and fix the angle so it doesnt sit so low, it would be worth a try before buying a new header. That is what I had to do with my cheap CX racing header for my other engine which is a 12a.

You have an early RB long primary exhaust they call their "streetport" system. It is early due to the way the center section is made. It has flat steel discs at the ends of the presilencers. The modern version has bullet ends and weighs a bit less as those discs are about 3/8" thick and there are 6 of them (yes two are hidden, one within each presilencer separating the expansion chamber from the perforated core section).

Someone added those weird hangers and the EGT probe hardware. The O2 bung was also added by someone as RB adds only one closer to the engine so the stock wire can still be used, and those systems also have a backpressure sensing tube which I don't see on your system.

The RB "streetport" exhaust is the best long primary system money can buy for a 1st gen.
