I tried a 2 1/2 inch duel custom exhaust built by a V8 shop for my 1st street port. From the header had 2 Dyno Max turbo mufflers to 2 glass packs. Ear splitting. Tried replacing the glass packs w/ 2 more turbo mufflers. Open, sure, but way too loud. Trashed the whole thing & got RB duel system. I really don't think you will notice if the RB setup gives 1 or 2 hp less than your wide open ear bleeder.

I`am running a complete custom system.
I designed the header myself, and had it built. The exhaust is a once off 2.5 " system, mandrel bent with 2 silencers.

I`ll take some pics, and post them later on.

I know what loud is. I used to have a 82' GSL w/RB header to cherry bomb presilencer to a stock muffler. That's what the car had when I bought it. It was loud, but I loved it. Maybe cuz' it just sounds unique. You know it's a rotary from afar. Never got pulled over when I had it. I think it sounds better that a Honda with a straight canister. LOL

Turbo TII-FB are you having a shop put in your engine and do all of the work for you? If so who?

my suggestion is the streetported system.
I had the racing beat header with the "road race" mid section and tried several home grown tailpipe/muffler combinations, after buying several mufflers including supertrapp and several others which either were way too loud or totally killed my power i finally sprung for the power pulse muffler. It was the perfect solution, not quite as loud and helped in the power compartment, even over some of the ones i tried that were very loud and i thought less restrictive!!!
