Help my stock air intake must go

Hi all I have a 83 gsl with a stock 12a in it and I want to get rid of the stock air box you all know the one that nasty blue thing. What is the easiest and cheepist way to convert to a K&N cone style air filter. Pics wold be a great help .

Thanks for the help

I think you would probably have to make a custom carb hat or something. It would be easier, and probably just as good just to cut your blue intake, and put a k&n filter that is made for it. Good luck.

making a cone style filter fit the stock nikki would be a big challenge. You would have to build a special dome hat and angle it 90 degrees and have it low enough to clear the hood. i would recommend rb power pulse system # 16531 with air filter
#16510. Very functional system. rx7doctor
