Porsche stopped giving new car buyers a free pack of Armor All after they found that regular use of the stuff makes dashes crack much more readily IF you stop using it.

The best solution is to get a Series 3 dash. Those seem to be super durable. But... that carries a whole host of other problems.

Could be a lot worse... could have a Z-car. Dash cracking like you would not BELIEVE.

you could get one of those dash covers to keep it protected from the sun. remember those old cardboard sunshade that said "help please call the police" on one side, well they work great for when you have the car parked and keeps the inside of the car cool

Ive heard of people rubbing hair conditioner on their dash to keep it nice and moist. Could be one of those stupid tales that doesnt work. never tried it. It might smell good though

Yes, using Armor-all will cause your plastic to become "addicted" to it.

Just re-apply it periodically and it's a non-issue.
