What do you think of my new exhaust?

I've been looking around at header back exhaust for a while, but i decided (living in south dakota) that i'd have a local shop do it. Its 2.25 double wall will a high performance diesal muffler w/a polished steel tip welded on to the muffler, sounds great and i think looks good, cost $207.

old exhaust.
new exhaust.

tell me what you think, and yes, it does sound good, the guy who owned the shop used to have a 87.

Looks good although I prefer the factory dual tip look. However, for $207 bucks , I'll say you did very well.

Mine is 2.5" with 2 presilencers (quietens the bridgeport quite a bit) and a magnaflow. http://media.putfile.com/bridgeported-supercharged-13b and from inside the car http://media.putfile.com/BRIDGPORTED-13B-COMPILATION . Just so I can get the most out of my engine this is going in in the spring http://www.quicktimeperformance.com/QTEC/index.php

Working on it.
This weather pretty much keeps the RX covered up,Im driving the Sammy mostly now.
Im currently designing a mount to put my new camera on my bikes, so I can lap time/anylize my runs up the St Helena Pass....I think Ill adapt that mounting system to fit up to the RX's 4 point cage too.

Jeezus,

If you want better air flow into the OERs, get rid of those socks and go an oval style filter that surrounds both velocity stacks.

Slate84,

That's a nice shiney muffler. Great price for the upgrade.

My setup:
RB single-outlet header into the RB 'mini' presilencer (a shortened version of their standard presilencer, sold only for '79 models) This then runs into a Magnaflow bottle silencer (straight through perforated stainless steel core) to an over-axle pipe to my Borla.

The result is a agressive but street-legal exhaust note with plenty of bass and a fantastic tone at WOT.

My setup ... magnaflow. I have another borla to add in the center section now and will see how it sounds with that.

That was with my wrap around. Since then I am straight In-N-out. Lake City manifold, no socks. Straight thru exhaust.

Sure, it won't start in the cold. But whatever, in the warm it SCREAMS.
