$100 says its the mega widebody. look at the nose. its to wide to be like Steve's or the front of luiml73's. I've seen them far to often to notice that much gap in the wheel wells

For starters how many first generation widebody Rx7s have you seen with stock wheels being used. I would need to see better pictures of the car to determine what kit it is. I doubt it is a Mark II GTU, or a GTO-1 kit, they are the widest of the widebody kits. My bet is that its like the kit that trochoid has on his Rx7. That kit is wider than a Mariah Mode One kit which is the is the slimmest of all the widebody kits.

That is the body kit I have, I used the Mariah whale tail wing instead of CP's, which was split in half when it arrived at my house. The kit is set up for SA bumpers. I used an FB bumper on the back and a modified FB one for the front.

I remember that $900 dollar kit on Ebay(that one had a Mariah style airdam), not a bad price at the time because it included the shipping. You could still buy the same kit, like trochoid's, for $1300 shipped through Victoria British. It's still listed in their catalog page 34.

I would like it better if the lines were a bit smoother...its just too sharp of a transition for me...I do like the idea...just maybe something not as extreme.

Like it has been said before, unless you have a monster of a motor, the widebody is just there for looks, and maybe trying to make your car a "momentum" car at the track. i consider a "momentum" car one that, while on a road course, doesn't have the raw power to run with the big guns on the straights, but is so light that it can outbrake and hold more speed through the corners, making up for a lack of power. If it's going to be cheaper to get the wide body car, provided that it's not a rust bucket, then by all means get the widebody shell and swap your parts into that. If this is the route that you go, please give it more power down the road.

Your kit is a few inches more extreem than mine. Looks absolutely wicked in black! Well done. I have the Pacific IMSA kit for my white 81. Photos to come.

I haven't had a chance to take pictures in the daylight, but I saw it today in the daylight, and the kit is the same as in Max7's pictures...

Ok heres my next question, how much would you guys pay for a widebody like this? It is just freshily painted, has no engine, its a GSL-SE, stock rims, widebody kit with whale tail, missing rear 2 corner windows, ugly red interior, no seats, no headlight assembalys, no header panel assembaly, shitty looking dash. Im just curious as to how much you guys would pay considering the fact that I am going to need to transfer over everything from my car ie: The WHOLE interior, drivetrain stuff, I need to buy really huge rims/tires, need to put on my glassmoon roof, need to rewire a bunch of stuff, and it needs the SA front and rear bumpers etc etc... Basically its a really nice body that needs TLC a engine, a interior makeover and some hardwork... What do you guys think???

then its only shiny paint and a widebody kit as a roller. There is so much work needed $500-$1000 in my book.

ya im figuring rims/tires will be like 3000-4000 dollars (CAD), this is going to be a long term project because I don't have this kind of money at this point....

Max7, your pics bring back so many memories of a long winter spent on mine. Here's a pic of mine a little farther along.

What are the options for rims for these widebodies anyways? The guy im buying it from was thinking about getting some 15x12 american racing rims, but maybe theres better options? He said they were like $375 each or something like that
