Okay, how about using brake rotors from a '88 Ford Mustang GT? It is 4 lug and has 10.9" rotors like the TII. It also has the built in hub, if I'm not mistaken..
Once you have the caliper bracket made, all you probably need at that point are spacers for the bearings. Though, I can't say whether or not the TII calipers would clear the stock GSL-SE rims or not.. Still, a worthwhile experiment.

they have 4 bolt hubs, but is the spacing for the lugs the same?

If you can tell me that you can make them to replace my stock GSL 4x110 bolt application to SE
4x114.3 I would buy them as I have SE rims just not the right bolt pattern to match them. That was when I was new to RX-7's and a guy sold me his SE rims, at the time I thought hell I like them better than the pucked rims. Little did I know they wouldn't fit until I found this forum...lol . Ignorance is Bliss sometimes :-)

Well, after more searching, I may have found a good canidate car..
The 84-85 z31 NA had the desirable bolt pattern (4x4.5), however the brake rotor diameter is just a hair smaller at 274mm. I don't know how much of an impact that will be as the TII rotors are 10.9" 276.86mm.. just under 3mm off. It just might be close enough.
Also, the z31 rotors don't use a hub like the rx7. It bolts to a seperate hub, which I personally like better.
There used to be heaps of old 84-85 NA z31s in the local pull apart, but I haven't seen any lately.. Might have to go out and take a look next weekend.
