What do I use to fill the hole left by the rear windshield washer nozzle?

because that's a narrow band of metal between hatch and sunroof, and subject to a bit of flex, I'd recommend welding in a patch. Bondo in that location might experience some stress cracks over time.

Oh I thought that you were going to put it back. Sorry about that.
Patch under, and bondo, the welding could be done if you wanted to use steal for the under patch before using bondo. It would be stronger to weld a patch under neith

Two options that don't involve bodywork:
1. Install a Fuba antenna -- the angled roof-mount style that WV uses. I have one on my car. (You will have to plug your antenna hole, of course, which makes this option most attractive if you're installing a rear spoiler that will cover the hole)
2. Get an appropriately sized plastic Christmas tree, use silicone underneath it to keep it watertight, and use a nut on the bottom side to hold it snug, mostly while the silicone cures.

Pull the headliner, remove the sprayer, find a thin piece of metal (tractor supply) and hold it from the back side and tack it into place from the top side. Smooth out tack, and apply a small amount of body filler (I like to use POR products. They have a body filler like bondo but has fiber glass in it.) smooth out, sand, and re apply until you get it where you want it.
Or instead of using a metal backing plate, just fill the hole with the welder, grind smooth and use your filler.
It is not hard, but I have a nice welder in my garage.
Pull your headliner out and run up. I have a new bottle of gas on the welder so
I can weld that and be done in about 5 mins.

thanks for the...creative ideas guys.
fire--thanks for the offer, but ill have to pass for now.
im painting my car and i wanted to do it now before i apply paint, but itll have to wait due to time issues. eventually ill swap it out for a euro style antenna and patch closed the antenna hole. too bad i cant do it now.
