So I discovered this today, this is to power the two MSD boxes......the wire at the end just went up right into the fuse box. It just went poof and all the wire burned. Sigh.

Your thread title is misleading. There is already a thread in the non-technical section covering the subject of your title. Read it here. https://www.rx7club.com/1st-gen-non-...r-rx7-1026557/

However for your specific needs, obviously the wire was too small and connected in a stupid way. Sounds like it's time to undo a lot of what your car's PO did and start over.

Ah yes, I see that. Do you think I should completely rewire the MSD System? The wires used came with the box. I replaced the section with a heavier gauge, should i just call it and redo it all?

Unplugged the vac hose to the shutter valve. Apparently they like vac leaks and head banging on decel.
