Angry What cause a my 1st gen not to have any power when I step on it?

Hey like the topic say's I just want to refresh my memory to see y my car got no power when I step on it, I even wire tie the secondary to work with the primary but still got no power. Also when I step on the gas u can see it want to move { it jump}but there is still something that causing it from not going full blast. ALso can the accelerator pump inlet {it's a jet} cause the car to have that problem? thanks alot, Khris

Accelerator pump.....maybe. I ran mine with a bad pump for about 5 months and it had plenty of pickup. Maybe you have a vacuum leak or the fuel filter is clogged. Try cleaning out the carb too. As a last resort, drop in a bigger hamster.

possibly a clogged air filter, possibly a vaccuum leak, bad fuel filter, etc...

Check the simple, accessible stuff first and go from there.

A clogged cat will keep the car from running right too.
