You can beat anyone if they are a shitty driver. I smoked a brand new mustang last monday. A SE should be able to smoke a civic with no problems.

Trial and error are the best ways to go.

um i once had a stock gsl-se notice the name and i could take all regular civics, celica gt's, some regular integras, most preludes, v6 mustangs and camaros, 5.0 t-bird, hell id race anything but i would have a much larger list of what ive lost to. i lost to the law so be careful too.

Street racing is bad, when you can easily go to the drag street and let it all hang out, sortta speak, but dont listen to me, I was leaving 30 foot black marks when i got my car running

The local strip charges, and its way out there. Thats why most of us "crazy kids" go street racing.

Not to be an *** or anything

here are Car and Drivers performance numbers in their March 1984 issue for a brand new stock GSL-SE :
0-60, 7.8 seconds
1/4 mile, 15.9 @ 86 mph

The key is to get outta the hole faster than the wrong..uhh I mean front-wheel drive cars. Ive left many higher powered cars that way. It's kinda funny seeing a ricer still spinning their front tires while I have already smoothly gotten across the other side of the street (:
