Cute car. It looks like somone poked out it's eyes (air vents).

I'm sure it will get up and go.

It's a bit Frankenstein. Rear end from one car, engine from another, car is 180K miles, tons of aftermarket parts....

too bad he didn't supercharge the stock engine - those things fly.

Not a bad deal, considering, as long as all the mods work. I know a guy here in town who attempted a V8 conversion on an RX-7, still can't get it to even idle right, and is trying to pawn it off on some unsuspecting ssap for $5,000 (based on "what he has into it", like that matters)

Hello... I have a 1982 Targa-7 GX model. I haven't seen any others out there... can anyone supply me with any information on this model... ie:... how many were built, etc.

Yeah, the Miata does have the Jackson Racing SC on the new engine. He purchased the block directly from Mazda. Engine had over 150K on it.

This car is nice... but a bit strange too. Like the fuel pressure gauge mounted on the hood. Huh?

There is a Turbo RX-7 in Florida going for $5K too. Been there for a while. Guy sounds legit, but you never know.

Hey ernewin, you might want to start a new thread instead of trying to hijack this one. This way you'll get a better response because the title of your thread will match with the subject at hand. Just thought I would point you in the right direction.

Miatas with Turbo mods can run 0-60 in the mid to high 4 second range (8-10 lbs boost and IC). SCs run in the 6.5 second range unless there's a lot of boost. Pretty damn impressive.

I just wish that I could like the cars. The 1st gen rex just looks sooo much better. They are much more unique and novel. The Miata is kinda... cute. I like the looks of them, but not with me sitting in it. Yes, great car, but....

Too bad it's red and comes with two sets of jacked wheels (your choice, chrome or yellow ). You did ask for opinions, right?
Everything else looks pretty entertaining. If it runs and drives as nicely as the mod list, buy it. Then paint it a less ticketed color and put some decent wheels on it.
