what is the best brake upgrade on a rx7 s2 as im building a bullet
hi guys just wondering what is the easiest and best brake upgrade on my rx7 s2 because im building a bullet and also need to stop. im putting a RB25 in it with a RB30 bottom end. so far for my project ive got a high mount stainless steel turbo manifold, T3/T70 turbo, huge alloy radiator, CA18 5 speed gearbox and adjustable cam gears. still to come a after market inlet manifold, bigger injectors, bigger fuel rail, fuel cell, VL turbo fuel pump, 100mm throttle body, 100mm front mount intercooler, stage 2 cams, haltech computer, Brass button clutch and VL commodore diff mini spooled so it should be a bullet its just going to be staight drift and drag no rego so what do u all think about my project?

I like the RBs, and have never seen one in an old 7. It would be refreshing change from all the V8s being thrown in. A buddy of mine has an S13 with an RB20 and it really hauls ***.
I've got an all stock S2 that just died recently, so I'm in the process of putting in an NA S4 13B.

sounds like a fun project but I dont think the ca18 tranny would be up to that task for long, we swapped in a complete ca18 drive train into a usa spec 240sx a while back and the tranny was the weak link there. for your rb25 i would go with a 300zx (usa turbo model) trans. or somthing beefier like that, or even the trans that came with the orginal motor..

Try here:

Steve84GS TII on here is running the Selectmaz setup. They are not too far from you (Melbourne) and you wouldn't have to deal with international shipping, currency exchange, etc.

Shipping on the kit would run $37.00. That is a flat rate box price.
I can fit 14 more pounds in the box for the same $37.00.
Take a look, see if you need anything else.
