part of the audio system - allows you to adjust the 'position' of the audio!

It makes sense to have this control but the location is a little off in my opinion.

Hey man, let me tell you that the stock series 2-3 rx7 radio was WAY ahead of its time. If you dont like the little stick then you can remove it easy enough, and just replace it with a themo clock or something

mr. rx7 please take no offense to my post I was just asking a question! When I got the car there wa an aftermarket stereo, so it made the little stic useless, thus the reason I asked the question. Don't get me wrong I love everything about my car and will always.

It's ok bro, I wasn't having a stab at you, damn internet! hard to detect done! I was just saying it was way ahead of its time!

Anyways, do what you want with the stick... It probably looks a bit weird in your car (especially in 2005 with an aftermarket stereo)

It was a balance and fade control for the stereo. They couldn't have picked a poorer place to ut it....

What's the hot idea to do with the hole left after you trash one of those? Too small for a cup holder. Anyone do something nice?

If you have an amp powering some subs, why not hook up a control **** to adjust the gain? Or a power button to cut the power to the amp to cut out the subs when you roll by your local ******** cops. =P

Actually the Graphic Eq. is the unit under the casett deck, the joystick is for balance and fade, like has been said.

The Eq. is used to adjust the levels of the different compoents of the soud, the joystick is used to adjust the amount and location of the sound comming out of the speakers ie. Left to right balance, and front to back fade.

The Eq. has to do with sound quality, the joystick has to do with sound level and balance
