What’s behind this plate?


This plate was leaking. I tried looking in both the FSM and Haynes manual, but it doesn’t seem to be directly addressed.

if I take it off, is there any “sprung” tidbits that will come out?

You can remove the shift rod via that cover.

No sprung bits back there. You can just remove it and reseal.
