Interesting that your first run of the day was your fastest, and you missed 4th.

I would imagine that you've already determined that, at this track and with conditions like today, you should be launching at 2k-2.5k and not miss any shifts for best time.

Sometimes smoother, slower shifting is what wins the race. Concentrating on your clutch and RPM can sometimes lead to 'tunnel-vision' about what you're doing and getting the lever into the right position is half the battle.

Not bad times, but we don't know what year or model you have...

Did you even need to shift to 4th? I guess 3rd at 80 might be pushing it. Ill have to go see what my top speed in 3rd is.

Went back to the track today.Had TO! knew my car was faster by the MPH i was getting. And BIG JIM I reved 3rd out on last run last time but this time I reved it out everytime. it gets up to 7.5-7.7k RPM at the end.
I got A LOT better 60ft's today!

Today

1st Run
60ft- 2.468
1/8 ET- 10.171@70.08
1/4 ET- 15.720@88.92

2nd Run
60ft- 2.407
1/8 ET- 10.053@72.33
1/4 ET- 15.526@90.01

3rd Run
60ft- 2.424
1/8 ET-10.545@64.45
1/4 ET-16.454@84.76

Last Run
60ft- 2.509
1/8 ET- 10.250@71.65
1/4 ET- 15.805@88.56

Overall. Im soo happy I got 15.526. After that I was hoping to bust into 15.4. Guess I got too excited and screwed up after that. But that time is good enough for celebration for me! Also I reached my goal of getting 90MPH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOHOOO!!!!
Well.Guess I gotta wait till next month. But will have more mods so wont really count.hehe
