well, I TRIED to take the 7 for a ride yesterday

after fighting with it to start(took about an hour, been sitting for a few months since summer) got it started, went to the gas station, then had my brake light come on. went back home to check it out and noticed i have a leaky rear drum

well, looks like that will have to wait until spring, was hoping to drive it around on the one nice day we've had this month, dammit!

the good news is i think both of the rear drums and the whole brake system are good on my parts car

I bet it was on the right rear; the drum piston seals on that one always seem to go first, probably due to exhaust heat.

You'll most likely need to swap shoes, too, as once they get soaked with brake fluid there's no way to clean them.

Also, don't reuse old brake cylinders, you'll just be redoing the job again in a couple months, if not sooner. Rebuild/replace the brake cylinders

I wouldn't, pads and shoesi can see reusing, but anything with a seal, don't take your chances, just rebuild/replace
