btw it's a real squeeky rattle so if that helps to figure out what it is then great

Inside or out? There aren't many places inside that can rattle, jack, spare tire, hatch struts, shocks, hatch. Other than that, inspect the rear suspension.

My antenna came slightly loose once and started to rattle. Although it wasnt squeaky.. Quick to check though.

Shut your hatch. If its not latched it will make slight rattling noises and be annoying.

I don't know if this will help or not, but I had a similar problem where this annoying rattle seemed to come from my hatch area. I did notice however that it seemed to be worse around 2500 RPM I removed everything from back there( jack/spare/tire iron/can of touchup paint/etc) and it still happened. I removed my rear lic plate....still was there. Long story short....I tried everything I could think of, including tightening up all I could find. Turned out it was the heat shield to one of the cats has loosened up....might be worth a check.

GOOD LUCK !
