Is it my Ignition or has the Clifford Alarm taken over?

I recently got back from 3 weeks of working on the road. I left my car at home and it had a bad battery and when I get back to start working on it some weird things have happened.

So i bought a new battery and hooked it up. The Clifford alarm went crazy once i turned it on and once i turned it off i went to turn the car over and nothing came on. no lights on the dash, no headlights, no stereo....nothing. But the alarm works fine.

I did all the archived advise of checking the grounds, cleaned the connections to the battery and still no power whatsoever....

Any ideas?

Fusible links? Did you see any sparks when you changed out the battery?

No sparks. I checked all the fuses and they are all good.

My old alarm had to be reset with the remote (hold button down for 5 sec) but I ended up pulling it out when I tracked down my occasional no start to the damn thing. Pulled it all out and starts every time now...

I went through the user manual to disarm the alarm and it is still inactive. Called the local stereo installer and they are gonna take a look. Seems like it has over ridden the system preventing the ignition from getting power. Ill find out tomorrow what the deal is!
