Weird Oil Pressure Gauge Problem

I've read almost everything there is to read on this subject but I wanted some input on my specific situation. I bought an 85 GSL a couple years back and the oil pressure gauge never worked, I never solved the problem and just assumed it was the sender or gauge. Now I've dropped a new engine in and I wanted to address the issue because I've put a fair amount of money into the car and I'd hate for something to go wrong. I ended up unplugging a portion of the engine harness and replacing it with another piece from the same model and year and got the oil pressure gauge to give out a reading but it's very low. I basically re-shelled from another car that was in rough shape but the gauge worked great in that car so I know it's not the sender. I'm wondering if it's not just faulty wiring but maybe something else as well. The hoses going to the FMOC have pressure in them and oil level is proper. I know these old gauges are finicky but I tried swapping another gauge cluster in and it gave me the same results.

Here is a video when the car is warmed up
