Weird oil consumption problem

My motor has been using oil like crazy, but the weird thing is I dont know where its going. The exhuast doesnt smoke, at least not that I can see, and there is no oil on the ground where I park. It has been using a quart every 150miles or so. I have been putting in 20w-50 Castrol. Any ideas?

Can you disconnect the rod to the OMP and make in inoperative?

Sure can, save up for a full rebuild kit along with both rotors, housings and maybe even all 3 irons.

A better option would be to disconnect the MOP rod and premix. If your oil comsumption goes down, then you know where the problem is. If consumption stays the same, it's either leaking or going out the tailpipe.

Thats what I was wroking towards. If I can just disconnect the rod and premix and see if the mass consumption goes down I would know the problem. I wasnt planning on disconnecting it and just going without some sort of lubrication.

But just disconnecting the rod from the carb is enough to cause the OMP to quit functioning, I dont need to cap anything off?
