My driveline has developed this weird knocking or rattling sound that seems to be coming from the bellhousing.

It goes away after I've been driving for awhile and the noise disappears if I slowly let the clutch out in gear with my foot on the brake.

Any ideas? Throw-out bearing maybe? These sort of things drive me nuts.

 

maybe you could try adjusting the clutch pedal some .

 

How much end-play is there on the eccentric shaft?
