Weird issues after radiator install

Ok so I got the radiator in last night but now the cars not runnin right. When I get to about 4k rpm the belt starts squealing, it doesn't wanna idle unless I feather the gas and it doesn't seem to have much power. Everything seems to be hooked up properly. Any ideas?

And the car was running fine before the radiator swap? Changing radiators wouldn't effect the idle or belts at all. Are all of your pullys turning properly? anything siezed up?

It was fine before. I know the rad wouldnt cause that it's just the only major thing that changed. After work I'm gonna limp her home and look her over.

The water pump seems to spin freely yet that's where the squealing seems to be coming from. It did have similar symptoms once when my alt came unplugged so I'm hoping that the alt is bad cuz it's under a lifetime free replacement warranty.

If you changed your rad because of an overheat issue, the problem may have always been the water pump.

Do you have a spring in your lower radiator hose?

Ok so my 2g leading coil crapped out on me and my belt was shitty. Luckily I had spares. But yes I have springs in upper and lower hose.
