Weight Watchers

I bought an 81 RX-7 from a crusher for a $100 Canadian.(its kinda scary cause he was gonna crush it the next day). It was sitting there for about 3-4 years. I cleaned things out and it runs! It looks like crap(clear coat, rust, small dents) but runs like a dream! after 228000 km(143000 miles) no smoke, no leaks, tight transmission, good clutch, etc. etc.) Anyway, I am turning it into a racer (it already has 8mm spark plug wires, blue bottles). This car does not have to be street legal, I just want to take as much weight as I can off of the car. Any tips, hints, pointers, warnings?

There are several threads on weight reduction, a couple of good one too. Guess you know what that means, don't you.
