Weber - The other reason.....

Hi, Anybody got tips or pics on a 12a weber drawthough turbo?

Close up pics of the turbine mounting and carb mount is what I really need, please.

Maby even a link to a manufacturer.

Question
************************************************** ****
Reasoning

Been searching for a bit and found some helpfull pics of a VW and a drawthough with a sterling but not much with the weber.

Yes, I know holly, sterling etc may give more power but I'm not shooting for a million HP.

Balance of the car and the look of the motor are WAY more important to me. I fell in love with the FB because of the Webers and fender flares and I don't want to compromise that

Not to start something, but I don't think anybody would say you'd get more power with a sterling or a holley (the argument is that you get more low end, not end HP. For that webers may be better) but I think mose would argue and say that you'll get more power with a blowthrough. Not a wealth of turbo info but I've always understood that you couldn't run as much boost (thus power) with a drawthrough.

Apparently blow-through cools the intake charge better than draw-through, in addition to allowing you to run an intercooler. But that's not what this thread is about.

Check with Atkins/Camden. They make an adapter that allows the use of a Weber on their superchargers. I think it's just a DCOE to squarebore adapter, so it might work with your setup.

^^ I thought draw through helped cool the intake charge, but blow through netted the intercooler option?

They both help cool the charge, but blow through does it better. Drawthrough is cooling ambiant air and it can only cool it so much then the cooled ambiant air gets compressed and heated right back up. Where as blow through is cooling the already compressed and heated air and it can cool that air at greater temprature drops, plus you get the benifit or being able to intercool it as well.
