Maybe you should ask the vendor.

You need to adjust the pedal. The first adjustment is the stopper bolt. You need to hold the pedal all the way down and adjust the bolt so that it just touches the pedal. This is important as it prevents damage to the throttle shaft assembly. The other adjustment is just the free play. You'll get a better idea of what I'm talking about once you crane your neck and take a look under there.

One last question, when i hit my gas pedal, the carb will not return to idle.. is like the cable is sticking.. the cable slides very easily.. it seems the throttle linkage bracket is not strong enough to return to idle.. any ideas? can it be adjusted?

Have you acutally had a look under the dash at the pedal assembly? If you do it should be pretty obvious how to make the adjustments.

That's not going to change the fact that he needs to adjust the pedal. Any time you put a different carby on or alter the cable adjustment at the carby this needs to be done.

Can anyone tell me if i need to have my dizzy hooked up to a vacum source when running a Weber? If so, where should i hook up the vacum? Also, what fuel pressure do most of you run?

I heard 5 PSI from mazdatrix, and they sell them. As for the vacuum source, I dont know, but personally, I plan to just leave the dizzy open when I get mine, unless theres another better idea out there...*hint, hint*

EDIT: Nice sig man...Removed the spring for the secondaries on your Weber, eh?

Just leave the vacuum advance disconnected.. there's no need for it. It also helps to dial in a bit of extra timing. There's an article on Paul Yaw's website that shows a good way of doing it.

As for fuel pressure, Weber's like about 4.5psi.

By the way, do you have any pictures of this thing yet? I wanna see it . Also, when I emailed MazdaTrix about the Weber, I also emailed RB about the pressure, and they said 4.5 - 5 PSI. So it looks like somewhere in there would be good .

I run between 4.5-5 psi, but my gauge broke, so now I don't know.

Well, I run 4.5-5 psi at idle I should say.

At boost the pressure goes way up, which is why my gauge no longer works.
