Weber 45dcoe air filter?

What part number and where can I get a replacment? I walked in to auto zone and the guy looked me square in the eye and said "we don't carry any lawnmower air filters"......

how do i figure?
well for one the stock air horns extend a little over 2 inches out from the carbeurator and flow directly in

the k and n filter does not have openings in on the end to allow air to directly flow into the airhorns

here i made a nice littel diagram for you...

I am currently using the red one 6". All I did was trim the wire mesh and the foam. Fits perfect after you shorten it a bit to fit between the carb and the oil neck ....

Jose, i have a 48 dco with the "stock" long air horns, will the 4 3/4" filter work for me without having to trim anything?

No,,,,

with the stock air horns, you will need minimum of 1" clearance between the top of the filter plate and the horn. I have one of the 4 3/4 and it was to short. You will need to get the 6" and then cut the wire mesh down...

I bought the 6" and cut off about 1" to 1 1/2" to make it fit between the weber base and the oil neck....

You will need the K&N filter assambly to go with the Unifilter.... I had to modify it just a little. no big deal.... Had to use a different Screw on the top to make it fit... Should be an easy fix for you...

here is a view of it;
