Weber 44 IDF vs. 48 DCOE on stockport 12a

Hey guys -

I am thinking of doing a swap for one of these carbs for my Holley 600 setup.

The only thing is, I don't know too much about them!

It would be going on a stockport 12a with a full RE exhaust [minus muffler] and second gen ignition setup. Nothing too crazy on this one.

I have a sidedraft on my widebody that runs mint, but I havent really had to tune it yet as the PO did a nice job with it.

Can anyone offer advice which would be the best one for my setup?

Thanks SO much,
Chris

48 DCOE. 44 is too small IMO; start with 36mm main venturis in the 48 and you'll have room to grow.
