weber 32/36 12a conversion?
I don't think that carbs much good , its what came as standard on my 1977 Mk2 Escort and that was a 1300 4cylinder ! I dumped it in favour of two 40 DCOE webbers
my freind uses a similar carb on his 1300 MK3 escort and he's just about maxed it out at 115+hp at the flywheel

The 32/36 Webers are too small for a 12A, used singly.
There are some setups that use two of the small downdraft Webers, they work pretty well, lotsa midrange, but then you have to hassle with synchronization.

those carbs aren't very performance related!! the DCOE sidedraft type work great and you only need 1!!! plus with the long manifold you actually gain low end torque!
have you ever tried to sync dual carbs??? believe my it sucks!
the linkage is a real headache too
is your motor ported?
do you have exhaust?

balancing twin carbs isn't too bad as long as you have the proper tools to measure the air flow through each venturi and the linkage is precise
those carbs are also a staged 2 choke design, it'd be a pain in the *** to set those up on a rotary

No, not ported. No other performance mods.
The card came off an old Volvo I had sitting around, I had been told that it was a performance carb.
But then, that is why I check here.
Thanks, everyone!
