Just make sure that whoever you decide to buy from that they are a reputable person/business.

Theres lots of options out there to choose from. You haven't specified what your intentions
are for the carb so it hard to tell you exactly which carb is best. Also, do you have experience
with Weber carbs or do you need good support? That may determine who you buy it from.

Theres sideddraft with long or short manifolds and downdraft. Then theres the Weber or weber
knockoffs like OER, Dellorto, or Mikuni to list a few. Do you need a 45, 48, or 51 mm intake
size?

You might want to list your current mods and your intentions for getting the carb. We can
probably help you with the selection then.

lol... wow.....

so now we get our posts deleted for having an opinion..... that's funny.

Tenaz... I can understand if you've got issues with Rob... but it's a little funny how you troll the board waiting to to tattle-tale on anybody that mentions his name. I wish I had that kind of time to waste....

I have pending issues with Rob and he Knows.
For me is not Funny to troll the board, After been scammed
by Rotary Shack. For me is not waste of my time to alert new members of the experience that I had with him.

Perhaps you haven't read this https://www.rx7club.com/good-businesses-233/now-hear-no-new-threads-about-rotary-shack-posted-here-931082/

RX71King,

Sorry it wasn't me the one deleted your Post.
Perhaps you may need to ask the Moderator about that.

He's right about this though, unless he's a paying vendor.

So are Racing Beat or Mazdatrix paying members? I don't think so. Yet we can mention
them all we want and our posts don't get deleted. I think this is highly arbitrary
to say the least. Small business thrives by word of mouth.

Rotaryshack was a paying vendor. When he stopped being a paying vendor - he no longer could advertise, nor his "following"can advertise for him.
On top of that, he's had a less than stellar feedback, and he has left a slew of unhappy customers all wanting his head.

He has been banned for his actions, and the people in charge have decided he is persona non grata - and that's all there is to it.

For all intensive purposes - keep it to PM's, otherwise - RS is

^^^ good point.... Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to stir up the **** pot here. I can only speak from experience. Sure Rob can be slow to ship parts... Hell he's the first one to tell you that.... And some people like yourself, Tenaz, have their oppinions and issues with him, but ultimately their are 2 sides to every story, and it's not fair that Rob can't defend himself, while you post stuff about him.

I read your post, and I read it before ever deciding to do business with Rob. I even asked him about it, and it elicited a very mature response from him. He smply said, it was all a big misnderstanding and it's being worked out in the court system. Whic is exactly what the court system is for. If he truly wronged you then you will get justice... Until then maybe the mature thing would be to stop trolling arond and posting a link to your previous post. It's really notyour job to be the RX7 scambuster... Any consumer with any sense will researc a compan before they do business with them.... And tney are all perfectly capable of typing ROTARYSHACK into the search bar and reading away.

Like I said I'm not trying to cause trouble and I'm not on anybody's side here... I'm just tired of seeing the drama. Work out your issues through the proper channels and then post here that you were vindicated. Now, i'm going to leave the issue alone since I know people have gotten banned before n the past for talking a out Rob, although I believe Alex (DF) is way more mature than to do something like that.

Please excuse any typos as I sent this from my Ipad and it's a pain to try to go back and edit.

First off I don't even know who or what "He who shall not be named" is or what the real story (s) are. I've read the stories and listened to the drama, and believe me, if he took MY money I'd be pissed (so I feel for ya bratha)....
But, as was stated there are two sides to every story, and if the negatives are allowed to be posted it should be allowed for the positive/defenses to be posted....seem only fair to me, whether this dude/company is a scum bag or not....if he can be shat upon, he should be able to be defended....It's the American Way.

Now if he was holding on to my money, your F'n-A right! I'd be trolling away.....Thank you for keeping the fire to the feet of those who would take advantage of the "Brotherhood".
Maybe this dude loses business because of the shenanigan's he's pulled, perhaps it let's him know others are on to his scams....maybe he cleans his act up and "rights" the ship. But he certainly has some knowledge we all could use. Let's just hope he does what's right.

Off my soap box for now.

I have no beef with Rob. We have never done business, and haven't had any business dealings with him. That being said - because of the huge amounts of issues we've had on the board regarding RS, we ask that anyone looking into doing business with RS do their research first.

Please, no more posts about this subject,
or I will lock this thread and delete all the non-pertinent posts.

There is also a standing order for all posts or discussion about a particular shop/vendor to be deleted, as he is banned from the site and can no longer do ANY business here.

Stay on topic please.
