Webber 45 DCOE VS Holley Kit RB
Which kit would you rather have on a 12A stock port. The Holley or the Webber....
I am considering upgrading my intake but not sure which way to go...

I have been using a Weber 45 for the past year and I love the thing. It was the first mod I did to the car and it made a big difference by its self, but when combined with a good header+exhaust DAMN!! it really wakes up the 12A. just be prepaired for a noticable increase in gas consumption.

WEBER
I'VE BEEN USING A WEBER CARB FOR ABOUT 8 YEARS FOR MY RACE CAR. IT SEEMS TO BE EASIER TO WORK THAN THE HOLLEY AND WHEN IT COMES TO PERFORMANCE IT'S GREAT. I'VE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH MINE.
GOOD LUCK.
PS. IF IT IS A STOCK MOTOR YOU MIGHT WANT TO TRY THE 40MM CARB. FIRST. YOU WILL HAVE A SMOOTHER ACCELERATION.

I'd go for the Holley personally. For everyday ease of use and reliability, the Holley kit is pretty hard to beat. I've worked on Webbers and I could never get them to work just right. The Holley, on the other hand, worked perfectly right out of the box. If you really want a big two barrel setup, try tracking down a Dellorto... those were awesome... and easy to work on too!

I Like Webers. I want to put them on my FB wen I get one but it is said that Webers are hard to start in cold & warm weather due to no choke but I never heard anything bad about holly. me I rather Webers anytime 51 IDA carbs are back at racing beat but high in price 790$ but its the best

I have the weber 45 on my car, it is really badass, the sound of it, the feel of it. The downsides are: uses more gas, can be REALLY annoying to tune, you probally are going to want a wideband for tuning.
I personally have not used a holley on a rotary so I can't really compare the two, but like I said the Weber 45 is awesome once it is setup and tuned properly.

i've had really good and very bad turn outs from BOTH. they are both a pain to tune to an extent. both can be great for power AND drivability but you HAVE TO KNOW HOW TO FUGGIN TUNE THEM!!!!!!!
either of these will be **** poor junk assfat if you do not know what the hell you are doing. if you get the RB holley kit it will be the closest thing "out of box" you can get. but if you want to put some time in to learning whichever you get... then it really won't matter.
gas mileage should not be a concideration when wanting "PERFORMANCE" from a rotary.
