i know of a few difference in appearance.... like the side molding is thinner, and also the front and rear bumpers dont start to wrap around the side of the car. is there anything else??

not important..... just wondering.

Shifters are different. The insturment clusters are different. Hell, the interior is different, just look behind the seats, lol. The interior is also different between 81-83 and 84-85. The wheels are different. Air/oil cooler vs. water/oil cooler (or heater, lol). Lots of stuff, but I cant think of any more...

Search for pics here, you'll have a list as long as your arm just by looking. Get John Matra's book, Color Sports Car History of the RX-7.

And don't forget the hundreds of critical differences between 81-83 and 84-85 cars, too. You must memorize ALL of this or all of us demented obsessive ****-retentive detail-scutinizing people will flame you. Muhahahahah!!! Just kidding.

Or take the rear right one out, reach in, pop the hatch, and take the whole damn car, or anything in it, lol .
