Are you referring to plugging the area where the thermostat goes so the engine doesn't overheat?

how would that stop the engin from over heating?

if its going to over heat, its from insuficent cooling.

this is very interesting.

Yep your right,

Get a lead battery post off of a top post battery, and cut it,then pound it on the thermostate housing in the small hole directly below it,...

So hows the outcome?

Plugging the by-pass hole is only beneficial if you're running a gutted thermostat isn't it?

gut the thermostat. Take dremel tool and cut the innards out of the thermostat so only the ring is left.

MUCH better way to plug the bypass is tapping it and locktiting in a 1/2"NPT plug.

Been there, doing that. On the racecar. It is overkill for the street really. If you can't keep your car cool with stock stuff then something must be wrong there...And takes FOREVER for the car to warm up. Sure does keep it cool though.

And the same thing can be done with the oil cooler thermostat

I live in FL,

In the middle of summer bumper to bumper traffic would be hot,if its like 92 outside the roads got to be about 110?

Well the car used to get a little hot,But I know the fan sucked ***,Som im taking the rad off my 10 AE and putting it on my FB,with a bigger E fan.

So you think running a plug in the housing and runnign the restrictor is overkill?
