water in my tank!
water was found in the bottom of my petrol filter 2day
i was told to put a bottle of metho in it (cus it has no drain plug) and change the filter and just keep an eye on it.
ive already put a liter of metho in it and havent had a chance to buy a filter yet, i will do that 2moro..
is there anything thing else i should be doing???

Yeah, there was no drain plug on my '80. I had to drop the tank and dump it out after the car sat for 10 years. No drain on the radiator, either. Even the manual says to disconnect the lower hose to drain the radiator. Easier to disconnect the heater hose at the bottom of the radiator. Wierd. -WG

Swap to an 84/85 tank with a drain, maybe. I am. It's actually easy if you leave the entire filler neck assembly attached to the tank.

Well anyways, if you just have some water in there, and its not because its set for a while, why not let the fuel pump do the work
Unhook the line near the motor, and run a section of hose to a bucket or such, and let the fuel pump pump it all out
