Water leaking into bin area

Has anyone had any experience with where the water might be coming from? The water pools under the bin even if it's just raining, at first I thought it might be a leak from below while driving but I realized it's gravity fed but don't know where it's coming in.

There is also an exhaust leak which is why at first I thought it might be a hole underneath the car, but the water was there after my car was parked in the rain and it's starting to worry me.

Any help is appreciated, can't find any leaks around the door/hatch seals but I am going to replace those anyways since they are old and need it. My goal is to try and make my car quiet kind of like a newer car, going to seal up every hole I find and adjust/seal the doors as well as I can. I know it will never be really air tight but it would be nice to just hear the intake and exhaust while driving.

If I remember correctly there is a hose that runs down the B pillar to the vents in the back... perhaps that pipe is broken/loose and is leaking down there?

there are two hoses. one on either side. you have to take the headliner out to see them. check your rear hatch seal and the sunroof seal. make sure you figure out what is wrong. I had to remove most of my interior because of a similar problem.

Thank you very much for the information, there is no sunroof so that makes it easier. That sounds like it might be it since it seems very equal on both sides when it rains/leaks, I have most of the interior torn out right now anyways so I'll do the headliner also.

Thank you again, this forum is the best!! I've been on the Lexus and BMW forums the last few years and those guys are just a bunch of douchebags for the most part, always looking down their nose at you and not really helping any.

Long live the 7!!

no sunroof, wouldnt have roof drains then, woould it? have you taken the bins out completley, mine were always wet ant there wasnt rust anywhere else visable on the car, and i took a look in around them and couldnt see all the rust, and couldnt barely see it from in the wheel well, unless a flashlight was used inside the car in a dim garage, and bits of light came through, then came the grinder/new metal and i have had dry bins since

Pull up the bottom of the rubber rear hatch seal. If the metal lip is rusted through, water will leak into the hatch and run forward to collect in the bottom of the bin area. Does your spare tire well have water in it also?
