water leak

My radiator is leaking water and i would like to know how to patch it up with out buying a new one because where i live rx7s are pretty rare and it would be a hell of a mission to track down a new one. I have tried putting in a mixture thing but that didn`t work some one also told me to put some pepper in.

I also notice after i have been driving water gathers under the oil filter cap i have been told it could be a water ceal and i was woundering what this could mean would a fillter on top of the oil filler stop it or not any help apreciated

Radiator.com has our radiators for like 117.00 with free shipping.
I am not sure what would stop a leak, I usually dont trust those things.

You could try finding where the leak is, pinching the hole shut if it's on a tube, and soldering it sealed. I've done this with some success on one of my old Fords, but you MUST get the area VERY clean. Needless to say it won't work an an aluminum/plastic combo radiator.

That said, if a radiator is old enough to spring a leak, it's probably corroded enough inside that it can't cool the engine as well any more. I found a radiator locally for $120(US).

When I couldn't locate a radiator ANYWHERE for my Isuzu JR Impulse (Piazza) Turbo, a local radiator shop re-cored the old one for me but it cost almost $180!
