Wankel inboard engine on eBay!

If I had a boat I'd get it. If I had a place to put a boat I'd get a boat. A rotary collector oughta give this motor a good home.
I may back into this at the end of the auction, just on general principles.

One piece??
I don't think so.
I'm not sure why it would be variable pitch but is sure looks like the blades can rotate on the hub to me. This is very cool actually. Essentially allows you to "shift gears" as you get up to speed.

It would be difficult at best to convert one to a prop drive. If I were going to use this as a project it would probably be a home built little plywood boat. That could actually very cool. Not fast but fun and interesting.

"2 cycle" has me concerned. Granted, it may take premixed oil, but it's far from a 2 cycle. It does have a lack of an oil pan though, which makes me wonder how long this thing would actually last.

I'm surprised at it's longevity. I thought NSU's seals sucked hardcore.
