VOLK RACING WHEELS big surprise!!!!

Some of the old timers to the board may remember me putting some picture of some realy flat volk racing rims up on the forun for opinions. Well, I got one of them today...

Remember these..

I got a big surprise apon closer inspection. The big flat volk racing panel had this written on it verbatum off the cover "This Cooling Cover Maintains Rotor Temperature at an Optimum Level to Assure Maximum Braking Performance" I was happy but not as happy when I noticed it was removable. You know I had to see what they looked like without it.. I was very damn happy. These bad boys are not going to be end tables for no one!

They're really pretty. Are they light?

I think my 16x7 rims are about 17 or 18 lbs a corner. And thats not bad.

So you just got ONE rim or one SET of rims?

I got one right now. had the guy send me one to check the shipping price. now I'm sending hime the money for the rest of the wheels to be sent over. should have the other three in a month or so. Now just need to decide on tires. I have to look for inexpesive tires. I'm a broke bastard

Falken Azenis tires are very good. I finally got to TEST my new set on our Annual Enduro through 3 SoCal counties, put in 410 miles last Saturday!
