Vibration.. I did the seach mine seems new

OK. car is stopped there is no vibration. Rev the engine still smooth. Hit about 15 mph there it is, stays there till about 45-50mph. thinking its still there just going fast enough not to be as annoying. Its enough to make the rear view mirror blurry. I can feal it though the stick shift. Its not RPM sensitive. If I put the car in neutral while driving and coast its still there. when hitting the brakes it seems to go away at the slower speed, but it doesnt really start till 15mph so that could be a mute point.

any help appriciated

Thanks,
Sean

You said you can feel it in the shifter, Can you feel it in the seat (damn question mark not working)

Check your tires could be sacoping from being out of baillance. Tha will cause all kinds of crazy vibration.

Good luck

Sounds like the tires are out of balance or they are bent.

ok you said that its not there when your in neutral so it cant be the engine mounts or anything with the belts/pulleys....in neutral the clutch is still engaged so it doesnt involve the trannny, clutch, or flywheel....so it could be the driveshaft, diff, axel(s), wheels off balence, etc. you just have to keep messing with it and see if you can narrow it down. umm do u notice your car pulling to one side at all?

Replace one wheel off at a time with the spare, drive around and see if the vibration is still there. Try that with all of your tires to see if that is the problem.

try pumping up your tires a bit, either that or get an alignment

check your wheel bearings also! sounds like a drivetrain problem to me, maybe you lost a balance weight off the driveshaft? or and bearing wearing out in the Diff input shaft or axle shafts will cause weird vibrations!

I have a heavilly modded 4x4, and i wear out and break axles and bearing almost on a weekly basis and the symtoms described are similar to when my 4x4 is about to blow a bearing/axel/driveshaft etc
