very wierd problem
I was driving to work when i tried to accelerate i had no power at all and the car was accelerating rough and the tack was bouncing everywhere so i coasted into my work to see what was the problem and i notice that the idle was really rough too. so i turned back and went home. there i tried to figure out if it was my coil or my carb or what but i still dont no. i think my car isnt geting enough fuel but i would like to hear some more experenced opinions on this so plz help ive searched and i still cant figure it out.

first do the basic stupid stuff, make sure you have gas, un hook gas line onto the nikki and see if gas flows out like non other take off either one and thier should be lots of gas.

in my own opinion, no anwser
umm. tach jumping.. non expierence anwser.
but could be the coils.
on my GSL, remember this is not the anwser just an opinion.
the Tach would work sometimes and it would not, when it didnt, the car was missing and it would not accelerate good at all.
changed the old coils
what sparks the spark plugs and then tach worked and the car had no more missing in it.

This isn't a clogged cat, nor is it fuel related. No power coupled with an insane jumping tach is electrical, no question. Start at the battery and make sure that the cables are securely attached to the posts and that there is no corrosion, then move on to the connections at the coils and the ignition modules. You should probably also measure the voltage at the battery and the coils, ensuring that there is little to no drop off.
