Value of an engine and tranny

I have an 1980 12A with manual tranny with 170,000 miles. Everything runs great and rotors seem fine when driving. How much do think I should sell each of them for.

Millage is very high on that one. why are you removing it?

You could try marketing it to SCCA SOLO II fans as a replacement for the stock Triumph Spitfire engine. This makes a killer E mod car.

I'm doing a conversion. I know, I know, I'll catch alot of flack for it but it's for good reason. I have a heafty rebuilt 302 w/ 400 hp and tranny sitting in my garage been there for about two years (since I got the Rx7) and I want to put it to good use since the milage seemed pretty high on the12A even knowing I've heard they last up to 300,000 which is pretty impresive. I don't know if the engine was rebuilt before or not and it would be cheaper for me to do a convert versus a rebuild. The car has been taken extremly well care of, inside looks like new, no rust. I still plan on having a rotory in my collection next with an Rx8, Don't get me wrong, I love the rotory engines. I was going try them up on ebay engine for 300.00 and the tranny for 150.00, didn't know if those would be considered good prices.Other engine pieces will be going to but just misc things.

Those belt moldings are called 'dew scrapers' by Marshall at Trussville Mazda. call him at 1 800 633 8285

300 might be high for an ebay engine. never sold one on there.

Is everything in your Sig included with it?

A guy in the sale forum has been trying for 3 months to sale a just rebuild Trans and is down to $150 and no one wants it.

I would give $50 for the trans.

that's the question i was going to ask.
i may be interested in the engine, carb, intake, full exhaust, ignition, etc. as a whole.

what are you asking?

I ebay'd all my signature stuff this week in ebay. I left a post for all you guys and gals to let ya'll get first hands dibs before selling them on there but there were no takers. Posted it last Tues or Wed. you can check if you don't belive me. But anyway, No, just the bare block itself with A/C compressor, waterpump, and alt.
