Vaccum advance ==> Boost reatard

I cant seem to get ahold of a diagram on how the vaccum advance on the stock 12a dizzy works in detail

I figured there might be a way to convert the stock dizzy to boost retard though. to help solve some problems that want to go carbie-turbo without a retard box/or finding a 12at dizzy

any thoughts/flames/comments

whatever, looking hard in my Haynes manual,
Ryan

What if you were to set the the timing at 4k (so that the mechanical is completely advanced) with full vacume (from a hand held pump) on the vacume diaphram. That way when there is little vacume in the manifold the vacume advance relaxes, retarding the timing.
