you could race him, and when he beats you dont be suprised, he has ~4 liters on you!

Maybe you should race him on a road with some turns, make it interesting

you could probably squeeze enough juice out of a NA 13b with some weightloss to beat a stock 302 stang. that'd be good times

Challenge him to a drag race and a road course/turning race.

He will win the drag race, you will probably win the turning course.

The RX-7 IS NOT and NEVER WILL BE a good choice for the dragstrip. It is designed as a car for the twists and turns.

Oh, almost forgot. Everyone needs to say this all the time, "My %CAR MODEL% is better than your %CAR MODEL% because mine uses genuine %CAR MAKE% engineering from %CAR'S COUNTRY OF ORIGIN%. No matter how good you can drive you'll still lose in that %COUNTRY'S% piece of ****.

yes you will lose,

you should talk to him tho, bring up 3 points:

1) its only 1.1l around 100hp

2) its a road car not drag

3) tell him to race a TII thats fair competition.

If you really wanna win you must use the techniques of the dark side. When you take off just turn the wheel right into his direction. If you play it right you'll win. J/K

Ask him to explain to you why your engine is crap. Explain to him that its the smallest engine in thats used in a car(well, in the states) and explain to him that alot of them have well over 200,000 miles on them and they still run.

Just ask him to count the moving parts in his engine (if he can count that far) then say devide the hp number by moving parts. You'll make 115hp (more or less) from three moving parts, how many DID he need for each 100hp
Actually, if he says rotries are crap, he ain't worth talking to. I mean: his car is using an engine Europeans or Japanese laugh at! Power to displacement wise, a Mustang is REALLY out-dated. And it's only good to go straight anyway. If Porsche or Ferrrari (or any Japanese manufacturer) would make a 5.0 l V8, it'd smoke any 'Stang, and still be able to take a turn
But, of course, that all doesn't really help you, does it
Get a 13BT, mod it a bit, race him then.

Don't worry about him, ask him to come out to a local LEGAL autocrossing event and wax him there, You are underpowered to take on a v8 sad as it may be, but seriously beat up on civics, accords, and NA eclipses, leave the v8's to the boosted guys...good luck.

A Geo/Chevy Metro/Suzuki Swift/Pontiac Firefly came with a 3cyl 1.0 litre engine. Assembled in Canada!

You would prolly lose even with a turbo, those 302's were under rated at 225 hp, so good luck, especially considering its the 25 edition its probably got a relativly big rear end gear in it so your toast!

Except for microcars which used motorcycle or snowmobile type engines. The Subaru 360, all models including van and pickup, came with a 360 cc, 2 cylinder, 2 cycle, oil injected, air cooled 25hp engine. They were imported in 1968 by Malcolm Bricklin. BMW Isettas had 247-600 cc one cylinder engines, and 8,500 of them were imported to the U.S.

The guy is pathetic if all he can do is to find the most inferior (drag-wise/displacement-wise) car to pick on. I'd tell him to grow up and go talk his **** to other v8 guys (namely trans ams and vettes) who would happily smoke his ***.

What a loser he is... damn bottom feeder v8s...(I used to own a couple of mustangs; key terms used to. )
