i told him my power window wasn't working..
he laughed and told me i was wasting my money that the motor was out and he could order one for me for 200 and intall it for 100....
lol

I took my switches apart and sanded the contacts and it helped it a lot, but I think I need to work on the new wiring they have in the archive.

What wire did you clean?

There you go, that's always the problem with power windows, they need cleaning, some adjusting and lubrication. You gotta have some sympathy for all those pathetic people who are trying to tell you that you have a problem and they have something to sell you that will fix it. Moral of story: Do it yourself.

A little spray-on Contact Cleaner sometimes does the trick.

I had success removing the switches and cleaning them too. Another thing to try is to add relays to the system so the switches only handle tripping relays and don't have to handle the whole 30 amps going to the motors.

Well, you're not going to solve any problem by "cleaning the wires". The contact cleaner is for cleaning electrical connections that are not fixed, such as switches and variable resistors. It will sometimes solve the problem for good, but in the case of switches it is many times a temporary fix. In addition to using the cleaner, you should smear some dielectric grease around the area to prevent arcing...that's what usually causes switches to go bad.

I tried this as well BUT it didn't work for me????
I followed his wiring diagram as the pictures aren't clear enough and it kept poping fuses. I think my relays maybe for driving lights BUT not sure. Where did you get the relays from?
