Update! Borla and OER
So, I dropped my car off at Sam's place I think on Thursday or Wednesday. Well, went back there today to check out the car and bring the jets/muffler I had.
This guy is awesome. Trailing did not work, no coolant gauge working, stuttered and sputtered all night long. Had to hold it at 1500 RPM for a minute just to get it to idle! A few days went by and it was an amazing difference. He found that the trailing did not work because there was a faulty trailing (it escapes me at the moment) dizzy, so he dropped one of his in. Rewired some components and jazzed up the engine bay. Seriously, I went to go look at it for the first time and it looked CLEAN. He also got the Fuel Pressure Regulator to work... which it did fine, I just had a POS gauge (which he got a new one for me).
So we got to work on it and the jets changed out, ran great (compared to when I dropped it off), welded on the Borla ProXS muffler, and went on a test drive. Quite a deep tone on the Borla, and it gets loud as you get on it. Well, partly because it was a header to the Borla... Right under his seat :p
All in all, Car runs way better and Sam is awesome. I will get you back for what you have done man!

Sounds like a feedback thread, but whatever. I would upload the video I took with my phone, but apparently it will not send out high resolution videos. 320x280??
Thanks Stu! I will give you credit. I am amazed at the good condition of the car. Straighted out the wiring, fixed the ignition (the trailing pickup wasn't working inside the dizzy), fixed some fuel issues, new carb gasket, installed the Borla, and voila! Instant smiles
. I like the pic with our 7's! I'll cut you a deal on the 130 mph cluster if you want it. I'll even install it for you too.

Anyone know where I can buy OER jets? They are the same as DCOE webers, but the accel jets are different.
I emailed a few places and so far no contact back.

Heh, I wish I could run 13b Bridged turbo. Looks like it is going to be 12a. I have to pull the engine out of storage tomorrow. I will be taking off all the externals and have just the block left. Looks like 12a half bridge half street for me. Also throw on that turbo I got layin around here.
Oh, to dream

when you going to put those springs on there? you need some HP to go with them. you need to get a sound clip and pic of that MSP muffler. my buddy has a wrecked one and im debating getting his from him.

if you get it then your golden. I had the XS on there and it was deep and droney from under the passenger compartment. Sam held the MSP muffler up to the back end of the borla and it went eerily quiet. If it stays that quiet when its installed, it should be another option besides the RB for tone and loudness. I bet it wails in the upper RPMs though. Hopefully getting the exhaust done this weekend!
I was hopeing to have the exhaust done for you before you came back up this weekend. My guy Jerry is haveing to do alignments this week plus exhaust, because a guy hey works with was in wreck. Now he has double the work this week. He told me to call him tommorow, he is going to talk to his boss about staying over Friday to do it. We'll cross our fingers

Well I decided to go ahead and get a vid for you guys while I'm waiting on Stu to come by today. I went to another friend of mine's shop this morning and got him to put the MazdaSpeed muffler on. Nice and quiet at idle, with a deep rasp under throttle. Here you go guys. Enjoy

Lol, yeah, my car blows smoke rings too!
AWS: Yes it is the stock MSP muffler. the axle bend will not go over the rear end though, so the guy cut it after the first bend up. This is the circular exhaust, not the ovaled. I got the circle one because Borla made it and I wanted to go all out borla, but not like everyone else's. The oval one on the later mazdas are built by RacingBeat.
