i emailed racingbeat and mazdatrix to see what they had to say. racingbeat sent the following...
and hit the head of the nail when he said their was more wieght on one side. the reason i see such a difference is because i have a progressive rate spring, half the spring is rated soft and half rated hard. it hasn't used up all the softer side of the spring. i'm going to put in a shim. i'm still waiting to here from madzatrix

Sorrry, I have no simple answer. The stock left front spring was 2 mm longer in free height, but that doesn't
explain the difference you see. I suggest you go through the possibilities one at a time until you find the
problem. Try jackingup the low side to make the car level, then measure the length of the springs, the position
of the lower spring perches on the struts, etc. If these are even left-to right, either the springs are a problem
or there is more weight on one side.
