Under the dash mysteries

So I was looking to under the dash to see if my speedometer cable was loose (I can't reach it with my hands). I noticed the following:
What plugs into the gauge panel in this spot?

And where is this supposed to go? its kinda on the passenger side, is the female end for four spades, all vertical.

Usually a plug that looks like you 1st pic is for the dash bulbs....have no clue on the 2nd pic.

If you twist the female bit around and then write the color codes down, a run through a Haynes manual will tell you exactly what it is. I'd do it for you but I gotta run.

I believe the plug in the top picture is for the key reminder buzzer. I think there should be a plug with a Blue/yellow wire and a green wire plugged into it. Not sure about the other one. Hard to tell for sure, but it looks like your speedometer cable is plugged in OK.

I didn't know my car had a key reminder. that's probably what it is since my car doesn't beep at me except at red line.

Does your RX have power mirrors? If not, this could be the harness connection point for the (optional) power mirror switch. In My SA this was located behind the cluster....

the top pic looks to be the blades for the coolant temp/gas gauge connector for the cluster...
