ultimate wrong move

last night i needed to pick the kids up from daycare, well my truck is gettin fixed. so i needed the "mini-van". so the only thing i could do is give my wife THE KEYS for the first time. was hard to do. well she got home last night and said"it was fun to drive....... i'll take it tomarrow so you can have the van". was praying all night that the truck would be fixed. it wasn't. SHE's going to take advantage of me and drive it as much as she can. good or bad? could go both ways.

My wife has driven my car before...

Once.

She enjoyed the thrill, and was super-duper careful with it, but doesn't want the responsibility of driving the "other woman" that I've had longer than her

Good god man! Watch your language... That "C" word is not to be used in referring to the RX-7 engine.

yeah, i remember my first 7 back in 90. it was a 80 also. not much , mostly stock. my girlfriend at that time took it to go home, well there was a good hill called kirker pass that her 87 escort just lagged goin up. she called me when she got home and said " it was great, i just passed everyone goin up the hill" she never drove it again. and i did try to teach a little cuttie how to drive a stick in one, needless to say, the tires spunnnnnnnnnnnnn........i grabbed the e-cord, and we went into a curb. that sucked.

wouldn't it be considered 2 chambers instead of cylanders?and moving parts? well there is the escentric shaft, the two rotors, and a few little ones like the oil pump gears, and the distributor . but thats besides the point.

4 spark plugs, yes...

But no pistons or cylinders, no valves, no cam, no rocker arms, no push rods, no timing chain/belt.

http://travel.howstuffworks.com/rotary-engine.htm

That'll get you started...

For me though, I could never see how rotor rotations translated to e-shaft rotations until I saw one with the front cover removed and spun it once.

EDIT: Enjoy You'll soon see why we love these engines so much... The RX-7 line was the most popular series of cars with this engine. There have been other models by Mazda, and even other makers have produced cars with Rotary engines, but Mazda has been most successful.

Jeez change ur sig lol! Yeah... no cylinders... so you just kinda look dumb with having "4 cylinder" in your sig. Unless you are joking around... but uh... yeah they are called rotors... and there are 2... unless you have a 20b, but ... judging by that lil mixup... i doubt it.

My wife's Sentra is in the shop for the last week and all of next. Since we're only 5 minutes from where I'm training in aircraft maintenance I take the bike while she's using my 7.
It's going to be a long week because while she's a good driver, she's also agressive and this doesn't give me a very warm fuzzy feeling...
