The thing I'm wondering... They never got the GSL-SE... However they also only had one wheel bolt pattern over there...

There's cars with + shaped and SE rims. I don't believe the + shaped rims will clear SE brakes, so either they made SE rims with the 4x110 bolt pattern or they made + shaped rims with the 4x114.3 pattern...

Or something weird is going wrong...

Or I could just be misinformed.

yea i found a write up on that blue one about a year ago? maybe a little less. had all the info on his car, and alot of good pics. he's changed his interior since then. it used to have alot of blue accents in it. now it's just all white. i like the new one better. props to him!

You've been misinformed. We got both bolt patterns. Our Series 1's and 2's had the crappy 4x110 bolt pattern and + rims. Our Series 3's are kinda like a GSL-SE minus the 13B and interior.

Well, you're half right. All of our S3's had the weird interior, not just the GSL-SE.

I saw the sweetest FB yesterday. It was a bone stock '85 S model. Original owner. Incredibly clean. Never had A/C installed at the port of entry. No Logicon-type heater controls, simple AM/FM radio... all the S3's that I ever see are GSLs or GSL-SE's, will full electronic everything. (Well except coldy13's car, I think his is a GS? But I'm always looking under the hood, not at the center console ) Guy said he traded his 280ZX in for it, and the dealer was trying to offload the car because the FC's were already on the dealer lot!

I forget, if the car had a sunroof or not. I did note the absence of the hatch popper.

BTW - This thread has changed my mind about painting my car Day-Glo Green.

Well wait. Did your S3's all come loaded to the gills with only leather and P/S as options? (standard power windows, six-piece sound system (three separate chunks in dash + joystick + two external amps), rear wiper, A/C, cruise control, and probably a buncha other stuff I am forgetting? ) That's the load we were shoveled with the GSL and -SE.

Next time you see it, take a pic of the heater controls. I wanna know what they put in cars without A/C.

I just bought the interior off a 85 GS, and it doesn't have the electronic vent controls, it has a slider thingy, but it has the logicon style recycle and A/C buttons...

I wanna strip my car's A/C as a silver car shouldn't need it, but I don't like having buttons there that don't do ****.

Meh, I'll probably have it as a manual electric fan on.
